Missions

Purpose: Encountering Christ and pointing others to God by ministering to the needs of people.

Vision Statement: To create and promote opportunities for church members to be involved in; Local, State, North American, and International missions; and to lead the church to cooperate with other churches and organizations in order to meet the spiritual, educational, and physical needs of people.

Mission Committee Objectives:

• Prayerfully seek the mind of Christ to accomplish His will. 
• Focus on Kingdom Growth rather than Church Growth. 
• Work in partnership with others and insure that mission areas are diverse in scope, purpose and target audience.

We are actively involved in missions in Africa and Haiti. We have also been on mission trips in the past to Ukraine, Canada, Netherlands, Missouri, Alabama, Tennessee, and to the panhandle of Florida for hurricane relief.
